As project manager, Lucas Gregory provides leadership for several projects and, along with other team members, directs 319 projects funded by the Environmental Protection Agency through the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. The primary focus of projects that Lucas currently manages is assessing and quantifying water quality impairments in rural Texas waterbodies. To address these impairments, the projects enlist local watershed stakeholders in the decision-making process to develop plans that will improve water quality through the implementation of sound watershed management activities.
Gregory joined the Texas Water Resources Institute in June 2006. He earned a bachelor of science in agricultural systems management and a master of science in water management and hydrologic sciences, both from Texas A&M University.
