A new monthly newsletter about Texas water news, Texas+Water, has published its second issue. The newsletter is the go-to source for timely, insightful information concerning water issues in Texas. The May issue features stories about cultivating stewardship through nature exploration, the Connecting Texas Water Data workshop and a Q&A with Peter Lake, Texas Water Development Board chairman.
Each newsletter also features current Texas news, recent publications and upcoming events. Dr. Robert Mace, associate director and chief water policy officer of the Meadows Center, authors a recurring section on the current and projected conditions for drought and rainfall in Texas.
The newsletter is published jointly by The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment at Texas State University, the Texas Water Resources Institute and the Texas Water Journal.
