As a project manager for the institutes, Allen Berthold manages various water quality projects across the state, including the Arroyo Colorado, Copano Bay, Big Cypress and North Central Texas Watershed Planning projects.

Berthold joined the Texas Water Resources Institute in January 2009.

He received his bachelor of science in agricultural leadership and development and his master of water management in water management and hydrological science, both from Texas A&M University and is currently working on his doctorate in agricultural leadership, education and communications.
