Gary Bryant is a program specialist for water programs in Far West Texas for the institutes. He works with Texas AgriLife Extension Service agents and specialists, federal and state agency personnel and various water clientele to develop and deliver Extension education programs focusing on priority water needs of West Texas. 

Bryant is also the watershed coordinator for the Pecos River Watershed and is responsible for the invasive species control in the watershed. He also oversees cooperative efforts with landowners and political entities in the watershed to improve water quality and quantity.

Bryant earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas and his master’s degree from Texas Tech University.
