Micaela Bandel

As administrative coordinator for the San Antonio office, Micaela Bandel provides program and administrative leadership and support for the Edwards Aquifer Recovery Implementation Program (EARIP), a collaborative, consensus-based regional stakeholder process that has developed a habitat conservation plan to protect the federally listed species potentially affected by the management of the Edwards Aquifer.

Bandel works cooperatively with EARIP stakeholders, participants and federal and state government agencies to increase visibility and awareness of the EARIP process. She also facilitates EARIP subcommittee meetings; provides contract, grant and financial administration; and assists the EARIP program manager with presentations and reports.

Before joining the Texas A&M Institute of Renewable Natural Resources in April 2009, Bandel served as administrative assistant for the Texas Youth Hunting Program and liaison for the Hunting Heritage Advisory Committee with the Texas Wildlife Association.

Bandel received a bachelor of science in geography with an emphasis in resource and environmental studies from Texas State University.
