UCOWR/NIWR Conference issues call for abstracts

The 2017 the Universities Council on Water Resources (UCOWR) and the National Institutes for Water Resources (NIWR) conference will be held June 13-15, 2017, in Fort Collins, Colorado.

This year’s conference theme is Water in a Changing Environment, and the call for abstracts has been announced. Organizers invite attendees to join the dialogue on seeking to develop transdisciplinary and disciplinary solutions to complex water problems and explore bridges between science and policy. Dr. Kevin Wagner, Texas Water Resources Institute deputy director, serves as technical program chair for the conference.

Abstracts for oral and poster presentations should be submitted by Jan. 20, 2017. Abstracts should not exceed 300 words. If accepted and presented at the conference, the abstracts will be published as part of the Conference Proceedings.
