Texas+Water has published its sixth newsletter. In this issue, the featured articles include topics on the overall health of Galveston Bay, the state’s lone natural lake, invasive zebra mussels clogging Austin’s water supply and more.

This newsletter is the go-to source for timely, insightful information concerning water issues in Texas. Each newsletter also features current Texas news, recent publications and upcoming events. 

Dr. Robert Mace, associate director and chief water policy officer of The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment, authors a recurring section on the current and projected conditions for drought and rainfall in Texas. This issue includes a Q&A with Dr. John Nielsen-Gammon, the state climatologist of Texas and Regents professor at Texas A&M University.

The newsletter is published jointly by The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment at Texas State University, the Texas Water Resources Institute and the Texas Water Journal.
