Separations Sciences Lab hosts short course

The Texas A&M University Separations Sciences Lab Food Protein Research & Development Center is hosting its 6th Annual Practical Short Course on Water Issues & Technologies: Process Water, Wastewater, and Desalination on Aug. 8-10 at Texas A&M. The course is also hosted by the Global Petroleum Research Institute and the Texas Engineering Experiment Station.

The practical workshop is intended for manufacturers, consultants, researchers and wastewater engineers and will cover membrane filtration systems, including cleaning techniques, life of membranes, pretreatment and disposals. Registration is $975 and refreshments and lunches are included. Course participants will receive Texas Commission on Environmental Quality credits.
