RGBI represented at National Water Conference
The U.S. Department of Agriculture National Institute of Food and Agriculture hosted the 2010 Land Grant and Sea Grant National Water Conference at Hilton Head Island, SC, Feb. 21-25. The Rio Grande Basin Initiative project was highlighted during the second Wednesday morning session. Six presentations were given by both Texas and New Mexico project participants on topics ranging from economics and engineering to deficit irrigation in pecans, turfgrass water conservation, and county program efforts.
