TWRI to host WRAP Users Group Conference
The Texas Water Resources Institute (TWRI) will host the WRAP Users Group Conference on April 16 at Texas A&M University. The Water Rights Analysis Package (WRAP) is a generalized modeling system for simulating the development, management, allocation, and use of the water resources of a river basin.
The WRAP Modeling System Users Group has met twice annually since 2006. New users or interested non-users can also attend. Please visit watereducation.tamu.edu to RSVP.
TWRI will also host a two and a half-day WRAP Workshop on July 7-9, which will focus on the fundamentals of WRAP and will include computer modeling exercises. The course is designed for engineers and scientists employed by water agencies and consulting firms.
The training is oriented toward new WRAP users but will also be beneficial for those with moderate experience or those with experience who would like to refresh their skills. Continuing Education Units (CEU) will be awarded for completion of the course. For more information or to register visit watereducation.tamu.edu.
