Texas Water Journal accepting submissions
The Texas Water Journal, an online, peer-reviewed journal published by the Texas Water Resources Institute and the nonprofit group, The Texas Water Journal, is seeking high-quality articles from a range of disciplines.
The journal is devoted to the timely consideration of Texas water resources management and policy issues from a multidisciplinary perspective that integrates science, engineering, law, planning, and other disciplines, according to Dr. Todd Votteler, the journal’s editor-in-chief.
“Our vision is to provide a publication that is relevant to current water problems in Texas and contributes significantly to improving water management and policy in Texas,” he said.
People interested in submitting papers through the journal’s formal peer-review process should register as authors on the journal’s website. Registration will take authors to a login page for the Texas Digital Library, which is hosting the journal. First-time authors affiliated with a university listed on the library page may log in through their university. Others will need to set up a Texas Digital Library account.
“With the online journal management system that we are using, you will be able to track your paper’s progress through the editorial process by logging in to the journal's website,” Votteler said.
The first issue was published in September and is available online.
