The Texas Water Resources Institute, TWRI, will host a Brushy Creek Watershed Protection Plan stakeholder meeting on Aug. 26 in Round Rock.
The meeting is open to the public and will be from 6-7:30 p.m. at the City of Round Rock Transportation Building, 3400 Sunrise Road.
TWRI encourages landowners, residents, agricultural producers, local officials and anyone with an interest in water quality in the Brushy Creek watershed to attend.
The meeting will focus on management strategies and education and outreach efforts to address water quality concerns in the Brushy Creek watershed. Stakeholders will build on input provided during previous meetings and help identify strategies for consideration in the watershed protection plan.
The project team will also provide an update on the watershed planning process and anticipated timeline for upcoming meetings and plan development.
