A Texas Well Owner Network Well Educated training has been scheduled for Feb. 5 in Wellborn. The training, which is free and open to the public, will be 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. at the Wellborn Community Center, 4119 Greens Prairie Road W. in College Station.
The TWON program is for Texas residents who depend on household wells for their water needs. Well owners who would like to have their well water sampled can pick up two sample containers from the AgriLife Extension office in Brazos County, 2619 State Highway 21 W. in Bryan. The cost of the screening is $10 per sample, due when samples are turned in.
