Jackson Malone is a graduate research assistant who works on watershed protection and management plans through geographic information systems (GIS) applications and stakeholder engagement. 

He is pursuing his master's degree in water management and hydrological science, and his research interests are surface water quality, contaminant transport and remote sensing. After finishing his degree, Jackson would like to pursue working in environmental remediation operations. Prior to starting his master's program, he received his bachelor’s in environmental geosciences from Texas A&M University.
