Wensi Chen

wensi.chen@tamu.eduWensi Chen, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Zachry Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Texas A&M University.
Her research interests lie in design, development, and applications of polymer and electrode materials to address global challenges related to water, energy, and health. Her research work combines theoretical insights, material innovation, and process engineering to provide clean drinking water, redefine wastewater as a resource, monitor environmental health risks, and eventually enable sustainable communities and circular economies.
She received her B.S. in Chemistry from Tsinghua University and Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Before joining Texas A&M University, she conducted her postdoctoral training at Yale University.
