The Texas Water Resources Institute recently published the Fall 2017 issue of its magazine, txH2O, spotlighting water security in Texas and beyond.

Other articles detail work by Texas A&M researchers on water treatment technologies to rid water of salts and contaminants. Dr. Jude A. Benavidez, associate professor in the School of Earth, Environmental and Marine Sciences at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, was profiled and the process for creating the Upper Llano River Watershed Protection Plan was explained.
