The Blackland Research Center is looking to add an assistant professor in digital agriculture

The Blackland Research Center, a part of Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center in Temple, TX, is seeking to hire a full-time non-tenure-track faculty member.

The assistant professor in digital agriculture position is 100 percent research appointment. Research topics include but are not limited to sensors, artificial intelligence, machine learning and big data analysis for various aspects of agricultural science.

Ideal candidates will have a Ph.D. in plant science, agronomy, soil science, environmental science, biological engineering, agricultural and natural resource sciences or closely a related discipline; three years of experience conducting field experiments; and five years of experience working with precision agriculture/prescriptive intervention or big data analysis and artificial intelligence for agricultural purposes.
