The U.S. Geological Survey has informed us that the annual 104G General, Per-And Polyflouroalkyl (PFAS) and Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) notice of funding opportunities (NOFOs) have been approved at the federal level and they are in the process of finalizing all three packages. The packages will be posted to Grants.gov as soon as USGS is able to.

Due to the delays in obtaining approvals at various federal levels, there will be a very fast turnaround time to submit proposals once the NOFOs are released. Principal Investigators (PI) will likely have 1 month or potentially less to submit proposals to the Texas Water Resources Institute (TWRI), which must facilitate each proposal submission and submit them to grants.gov on behalf of each PI per the NOFO requirements.

To start preparing, please visit our TWRI 104G website that contains information from last year’s FY2024 NOFOs and the submission process. In addition, if you plan to submit a proposal to any of the three opportunities, please complete a notice of intent form by August 15, 2025, so we know how many proposals to anticipate.

A general overview webinar will be held once the NOFOs are released. We’ll update the TWRI 104G website and share with our funding opportunities mailing list once that date is set.

If you would like to be added to our announcement list for this and other opportunities, please email Danielle Kalisek (Danielle.Kalisek@ag.tamu.edu) with this request.
