Tucker McCoy is a graduate student of the Water Management and Hydrological Science program at Texas A&M University and earned a B.S. in environmental geology from the University of Oklahoma.

He has previously worked for both the Oklahoma Water Resources Board and the United States Bureau of Land Management on groundwater and environmental projects, and is currently working on groundwater modelling and geothermal storage using aquifers as a part of his thesis.

His expertise is focused on geohydrology, groundwater modelling, watershed management, and GIS analysis which he hopes to one day use to help solve water resource issues across the United States.
