Shaylynn Postma

Research Associate

As a research associate for the Texas Water Resources Institute, Shaylynn supports and manages projects related to watershed planning and implementation, water research, and water quality monitoring. She also helps lead in-field surface water quality monitoring efforts across the state.

Shaylynn received her Bachelor of Science in biological engineering from Utah State University in 2021 and has previously worked as an applications engineer in the water treatment industry.

Outside of work, Shaylynn enjoys hiking and exploring state and national parks.
