Destiny Russell
Graduate Research Assistant
destiny.russell@ag.tamu.eduAs a graduate research assistant for the Texas Water Resources Institute, Destiny Russell currently works on the Urban Riparian and Stream Restoration Training and Demonstration project in coordination with Texas A&M AgriLife Research, as well as various research projects and educational trainings.
Russell is currently pursuing a master’s degree through Texas A&M University’s Water Management and Hydrological Sciences program. Her research interests include stream restoration, fluvial geomorphology and water resources management.
Prior to coming to Texas A&M, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science with a minor in forestry from Stephen F. Austin State University, worked two years as an environmental specialist for a private environmental consulting firm, and received her certified wetland delineator license.
