TWDB accepting applications for ag water conservation grants

The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) is now accepting applications for Fiscal Year 2018 Agricultural Water Conservation Grants. Applications are due to TWDB no later than Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at 12 p.m.

TWDB has up to $600,000 in grant funding available. Eligible grant categories this year include:

  1. Equipment cost share and technology transfer
  2. Demonstrations of innovative and alternative production systems
  3. Planning and design for irrigation system improvements
  4. Feasibility study of irrigating with produced water

Eligible activities, maximum grant amount per project and local match requirements may differ from one category to the next.
