The Annual Water Lecture Series: Perspectives on Law and Policy is hosting two upcoming lectures by Karin Krchnak, freshwater director for the World Wildlife Fund – U.S., April 3 in Fort Worth and April 4 in College Station.
The events are sponsored by the Water Management and Hydrological Science (WMHS) Program, the Texas Water Resources Institute, the Texas A&M University School of Law and the Bush School of Government and Public Service.
Krchnak’s lecture is titled “Achieving Water Security: Building Alliances for Better Water Management across Sectors and Boundaries.”
The April 3 event will begin at 4 p.m., followed by a reception at 5:30 p.m., and will be held at the Texas A&M School of Law Conference Center, 1515 Commerce St. in Fort Worth.
The April 4 lecture will be a part of the annual Water Daze event at Texas A&M, which is coordinated by the WMHS Program. A 3:30 reception will proceed Krchnak’s lecture, which will begin at 4 p.m., in Room 113 of Kleberg Center at Texas A&M. The Water Daze student poster competition will begin at 9 a.m. on April 5, in the Exhibit Hall of Architecture Center Building B.
