The Texas Watershed Steward program is bringing workshops on water quality and management to the Lower San Antonio River watershed and the Upper Llano River watershed this spring.
On April 20 from 1-5 p.m., the Lower San Antonio River workshop will be held in the Ashland Specialty Ingredients Training Center, 400 Escondido Road in Kenedy. It will be presented by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board (TSSWCB), in coordination with the San Antonio River Authority.
In Junction on May 6, a workshop for the Upper Llano River watershed will be presented from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Llano River Field Station, 254 Red Raider Lane. Program presenters are AgriLife Extension and TSSWCB, in cooperation with the Llano River Field Station and Upper Llano Watershed Coordination Committee.
Participants are encouraged to preregister on the Texas Watershed Steward website at tws.tamu.edu.
