Draft watershed protection plan for Petronila & San Fernando creeks out for stakeholder comment

The draft Petronila and San Fernando Creek Watershed Protection Plan (WPP) is out for review following a few minor adjustments made after the January 26 stakeholder meeting. During the meeting, the contents of each chapter were highlighted and discussed with stakeholders along with the next steps in the WPP review and revision process. The meeting agenda, slides and a video recording of the presentation and discussions are available on the project website.

The draft Petronila and San Fernando WPP is available to download here. To request a paper copy or an editable version, ask questions about the WPP or the review process, or discuss parts of the WPP, please contact Lucas Gregory at 979-314-2361 or lfgregory@ag.tamu.edu.

Comments will be accepted regarding the WPP through February 23. At that point, comments received will be incorporated into a final draft of the WPP. If comments received are minor, a summary of the changes will be sent to watershed stakeholders. If comments received are significant, another public meeting will be held to discuss these comments. Information about this potential meeting will be sent out in late February.
