A Texas Well Owner Network training has been scheduled for 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Nov. 5 on the Wharton County Junior College campus, 4000 Ave. F in Bay City.
The Well Educated training is free and open to the public.
Well owners may bring water samples to the training to be screened for nitrate–nitrogen, total dissolved solids (TDS) and E. coli bacteria. Pick up approved sample containers with instructions at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension offices in Matagorda County or Wharton County. Cost is $10 per sample. Bring your samples to the training.
