As the Business Administrator for TWRI, Christine provides administrative support and coordination of a variety of business activities. These activities include approving purchasing and travel expenses; and compiling and preparing monthly communications, website, and database billing. She also provides project account information related to the budget and expenditures for various projects. In addition, she serves as the backup for budget revisions, purchasing, cost share, deposits, preparing financial status reports and inventory.

As the HR Liaison and Payroll and Leave Administrator, Christine oversees the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring process for the department. She prepares and submits personnel actions that include the creation of new positions, updating positions, salary adjustments, employment offers, merits, reclassifications, and terminations. She coordinates and performs other HR related duties as needed. Christine also audits biweekly and monthly payroll reports for accuracy and prepares and submits cost allocations and payroll corrections as needed.

Prior to joining TWRI in December 2023, Christine has 23 years of combined experience working for Texas A&M University, Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station, and Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service. She has acquired knowledge and skills in various areas including accounting, business, finance, graphic design, human resources, payroll, and project management.
