As a communications intern, Ava helped write and edit for TWRI publications, manage social media accounts and assisted the communications team with various projects.

Ava received a Bachelor of Science in biology from Syracuse University and is currently working on a Master of Science in science and technology journalism from Texas A&M University. In her free time she enjoys, cooking, hiking, running and traveling.
