Clare Entwistle Escamilla
Research Specialist II
clare.entwistle@ag.tamu.edu (210) 277-0290 x205As a research specialist for the Texas Water Resources Institute, Clare Entwistle Escamilla provides leadership for various research and extension projects, working with university faculty, state, local and federal governments and stakeholders, to address statewide water-related issues. Her main program areas are watershed protection planning and running the Texas Riparian and Stream Ecosystem Training and the Urban Riparian and Stream Restoration Training Program.
Clare joined TWRI as a graduate research assistant in 2014. She received her bachelor’s degree in mathematics with a minor in biology from Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She earned a Master of Science degree from Texas A&M University’s Water Management and Hydrological Sciences program in 2016.
Originally from New Jersey, Clare now calls Texas her home and has been enjoying the milder winters. In her spare time, she likes to take long walks followed by long naps with her dog. She enjoys running, cycling and baking.
