Graduate Research Assistant

Pavani Chukkapalli worked as a graduate research assistant for the Texas Water Resources Institute. Her role entailed assisting in various watershed protection and management activities.

She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Water Resources Engineering at Texas A&M University. Her research interests lie in low impact development practices, stormwater and flood management strategies.

Prior to joining Texas A&M, she pursued her bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal, India.

Her prior work experiences include working on water supply projects with HDR, Inc. and with the Indian Green Building Council on Green Home projects. In her free time, she likes to travel, jam to music and try out new food places.
