Graduate Research Assistant

As a graduate research assistant for the Texas Water Resources Institute, Shubham Jain worked on various geographic information systems (GIS) and watershed management projects.

Jain is currently pursuing a master’s degree through Texas A&M University’s Water Management and Hydrological Sciences program. His research interests include GIS applications to hydrologic modeling and analyzing climate and land use change impacts on water resources. Jain has also received GIS certificate from the Texas A&M Department of Ecosystem Science and Management.

Prior to coming to Texas A&M University, Jain received his Bachelor of Technology in civil engineering from VIT University, India and worked on various desalination processes at National Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan as part of his undergraduate research. In his free time, he likes travel filmmaking and photography.
