amanda.tague@ag.tamu.edu (979) 314-8049As a research associate for the Texas Water Resources Institute, Amanda works with the field monitoring team and assists with various watershed protection and management projects.
Amanda completed a Bachelor of Science in Geology at Texas A&M University in 2019. She then returned to A&M and completed a master's in water management and Hydrological Sciences program in August 2023. Her degree emphasis was on hydrogeology, water law, and surface water geochemistry. Her current research interest is in measuring the microplastics in Texas surface water and its effect on natural ecosystems.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys drawing, exploring coffee shops around town, and using the iPhone app Naturalist to identify Texas plants and animals.
