Jason Gerlich

jason.gerlich@ag.tamu.edu 979-314-2352Jason Gerlich is a research specialist for the Texas Water Resources Institute. He works on various watershed projects developing total maximum daily load and implementation plans, collaborating with stakeholders to relay information and preparing educational resources. He also leads efforts in field-based water quality monitoring and data collection.
Jason completed a Bachelor of Science at Colorado State University in watershed science with a minor in soil science in 2019. He received his Master of Science in soils and global change through a joint university program at the University of Ghent, Belgium, and University of Aarhus, Denmark, in 2021.
Outside of the office, Jason is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking and surfing.
