sarah.stannard@ag.tamu.edu (979) 314-3441Sarah is a Program Specialist at the Texas Water Resources Institute (TWRI), where she supports watershed planning, implementation, and outreach initiatives.
She earned her BS in Wildlife Biology from Texas State University and is on track to complete her MS in Aquatic Resources there in early 2025. Her thesis explores the impact of predation on invasive zebra mussels in a Texas reservoir.
With 18 years of experience as an instructional specialist, science teacher, conservation educator, and environmental scientist, Sarah brings a broad range of expertise to her work. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys live music, gardening, spending time with her dogs, and visiting her two adult children and new grandson.
