The Texas Water Resources Institute (TWRI) invites community members, landowners, and anyone with an interest in local water quality to attend the fourth public meeting for the Davidson Creek Watershed Protection Plan (WPP).
The meeting begins at noon onSept. 16 at the Burleson County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Office, 1516 FM 166, Caldwell, Texas. (Note that the AgriLife Extension office is no longer located at the county courthouse.)
Attendees are asked to RSVP for the event at tx.ag/DavidsonRSVP.
This meeting will bring together residents, environmental experts and community leaders to discuss decisions on key pollutant sources in the watershed. Attendees will also have the opportunity to review recent water quality data and begin exploring solutions to improve water quality in the Davidson Creek watershed.
There is no requirement for participants to have attended prior meetings, and anyone interested can catch up by reviewing notes and presentations from previous meetings on the Davidson Creek website at davidson.twri.tamu.edu/meetings.
